METH#100 Goldie - Freedom (Feat. Natalie Duncan)

Since its 1994 conception, Goldie's Metalheadz label has been responsible for legendary jungle rinse outs in The Blue Note, playing host to D&B's finest album debutants such as Commix, releasing archetypal underground killers such as Doc Scott's Unnoficial Ghost, Adam F's MetropolisAsylum's Da Base II Dark, and a multitude of current D&B releases including a techno and house infused Re:call To Mind LP featuring remix pressure from Burial, Pedestrian and Pangaea.

Fast forward 18 years and Goldie is set to release the one hundredth release on Metalheadz after the success of the latest collaboration between Need For Mirrors & DRS on his new MethXX label. Reminiscent of his timeless classic (excuse the pun) Inner City Life, FREEDOM is a progressive drum & bass release, giving substandard producers in the scene a production master-class with resonating breaks rolling in after a cinematic build up of euphoric guitar synths, the spine chilling Natalie Duncan on vocal duties dipping in and out of the mix resulting in the creation of a future classic. Enjoy.
